[There's someone in particular she has to thank for a few things, Nino thinks--so she fetches some of the freshwater from the spring in half of a coconut shell (thanks, Lucina) and very, very cautiously brings it to Kirigiri's door as an offering.

Fair's fair, right! She owes her a lot, after all.

And so, when she has it balanced properly in one hand, she lifts a hand to knock.

Not exactly an opposite... it's more like--people who study anima magic for a long time can usually pick up healing magic. And healers can usually pick up light magic! Or sometimes anima magic too.

But dark magic is really just...learned by shamans and druids, I think! Though Canas could heal too...

I see...it sounds like it's incredibly useful, then. My own world doesn't have magic, really.

None that I know of, though I have a classmate who is supposedly a fortune teller.

Oh... I've met a fortune teller before! I'm not sure how their magic works, though.

But...how do you do things without magic? [???]

What sort of things do you mean?

Well, like... light! And traveling far distances. And things like that!

[Technology in feland never gets far, maybe this is why.]

For light, we have a way to capture it in glass, which lasts a long while. For travel, we have...metal contraptions powered by a different kind of energy, which we can ride.
