[WELL HERE'S NINO going to go say farewell, because that's not depressing at all--
Okay, no, it's kind of depressing, but she has something for Akira, so she has to.

[There are things she has to do, she knows. People she has to see and say farewell to. She owes them this much...and that's the goal here as she makes her way to Zuko's hut.
She's...trying to put a brave face on it, but it's pretty clear she's been crying with her (one) red-rimmed eye. Still...

It really, really doesn't feel real. But Nino can't stay only with Jaffar. She'll spend the majority of her night with him, naturally, but there are other people she wants to see, other people she wants to speak with--

That's her intention.
But she can't seem to manage to bring herself to get there--instead, she ends up collapsed in the sand, fingers buried in the grains, and head bowed as she cries.
This is it, after everything--and she doesn't want to die.]

[Nino waits until after the trial, but she does this before the execution--because she's not sure she'll be very good at seeming cheerful and taking care of someone once Austria's been killed. In truth, she has a ton to think about--the votes, the way Laura is--

[Post-everything awful, Nino's here to facilitate a conversation between Nanashi and Jaffar!!

[Nino's had a few shocks this trial to be sure--the realization that she's inevitably going to die is one of them, thanks to Laura, but those five votes were also shocking, even if she understands it wasn't on purpose--

[Yo what up Magilou HERE COMES NINO... it's been almost a week since Things Happened, so while she's still got the gauze on to cover her missing eye, she seems a bit more able to move around and a bit less... you know, scarred for life.

[Wow everything went to shit so surprisingly quickly. Nino... is honestly a bit at loose ends. It took her a few hours before she felt even remotely comfortable leaving Jaffar's side--but after that, what can she do but wander listlessly, a little like a ghost?
... When she spies someone familiar, looking almost even worse off than she does, Nino knows she has to do something. Bellamy took things hard--even harder than most of them (aside from Akira, the poor guy) and...

[There's someone in particular she has to thank for a few things, Nino thinks--so she fetches some of the freshwater from the spring in half of a coconut shell (thanks, Lucina) and very, very cautiously brings it to Kirigiri's door as an offering.
Fair's fair, right! She owes her a lot, after all.

Nino is definitely dragging Jaffar out because Jaffar deserves more friends, and because there's someone in particular she wants to check on?
(She missed the cannibalism memo.)
So when she finally spies Serph, she points him out to Jaffar brightly, and then is dragging him right on over.]

[Ultimately... Nino has to know what her profile says. Of course, there's the problem that she doesn't, you know, how to read, and she doesn't want to ask Jaffar; from what she's gathered from the rest of the profiles, they're pretty embarrassing or bad.
